Geothermal Heat Pumps
Geothermal heat pumps are a highly-efficient method of providing heating/air conditioning and hot water.
These systems work by taking advantage of heat stored naturally in the ground. Underground collection
pipes circulate fluid in a closed loop system, either extracting heat or dumping heat into the ground depending
on the season. For example, in the winter, a heat exchanger pulls the heat from the collector pipes and sends
it into the home. In the summer, the process is reversed.
